Small business insurance
Independent commercial coverage for contractors, project owners, and the businesses that keep California and Texas jobs running. Construction is the face of the agency; the rest of the book sits one click away.
Request a quote
A licensed agent reviews your request. Certificates are issued after a policy is bound.
Where most commercial accounts start
A licensed agent compares options from multiple carriers. Kavana is an independent agency, not a carrier.
General liability
Third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising out of your operations.
Workers’ compensation
Employee injury coverage, rated on payroll and class code — the line GCs ask about first.
Commercial auto
Work vehicles, hired and non-owned exposure, and the certificates that follow them.
Business owners policy
GL plus property packaged together for smaller operations that qualify.
Certificates are the product, not the paperwork
On a commercial account the policy matters, but the certificate is what unblocks the job. A GC will not let a crew on site without one, and a wrong endorsement means a second trip through underwriting.
We tell you what sits outside the policy before you bind, not after a claim. That includes exclusions, deductible structure, and what the certificate can and cannot say.
We are not a carrier. We compare options from multiple carriers, and we say which one we would place and why.
GENERAL GUIDANCE ONLY. THE POLICY FORM, ENDORSEMENTS, AND CARRIER DECIDE WHAT IS COVERED ON YOUR ACCOUNT.
