These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) apply to text messages sent by Kavana Insurance Inc. (“Kavana,” “we,” “us”) to people who opt in to our SMS program. They are separate from our Privacy Policy. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive SMS from Kavana, you agree to these SMS Terms.

Who we are

Kavana Insurance Inc. is a licensed California insurance agency (License Number 6016951), also licensed in Texas. We send SMS only as Kavana, to people who consented to hear from Kavana. We are not an affiliate marketer, lead generator, or aggregator messaging on behalf of unnamed third parties.

The program

How you opt in

You opt in by checking an unchecked box on our quote or contact forms, or by giving verbal or written consent to a licensed Kavana agent during intake. Providing your number is not required to get a quote or buy a policy. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-in example language on our site:

I agree to receive SMS messages from Kavana Insurance related to insurance quotes, policies, appointments, and account updates. Mess

Mobile information is not sold or shared for marketing

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers (for example our SMS platform) only to deliver and support Kavana’s own messages. That is not a sale of your opt-in.

Supported carriers / devices

Compatible with major US carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed on all devices or in all coverage areas.

Changes

We may update these SMS Terms. The current version will be posted at https://kavanainsurance.com/sms-terms/. Continued participation after an update means you accept the updated SMS Terms.

How you opt out

Text STOP, STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to cancel. You may also ask us by phone or email. After you opt out we will send a one-time confirmation and then stop. To opt back in, text START.

  • Policy and account updates
